Crop circle appears at Huddersfield's Castle Hill
Castle Hill has been visited by aliens – or practical jokers. A crop circle has appeared in a field below the Huddersfield landmark this week.
The circle is clearly visible in the fields below Lumb Lane, which runs across the bottom of the landmark hill.
For some people, the mysterious patterns are evidence that aliens have visited. But to many others, the presence of crop circles merely demonstrates that someone has too much time on their hands.
But Slaithwaite woman Lynda Haigh, who spotted a possible crop circle several days ago near Hartshead, has a third theory about the Castle Hill crop circle.
Mrs Haigh, who is training to be a priestess, believes crop circles are caused by ley lines – routes between historic sites.
