BP To Tap Earth’s Molten Core

A new conspiracy theory is being bandied about by international energy experts fearful that petroleum giant BP is scheming to make a silk purse out of the sow’s ear that is the oil spill off coastal Louisiana, U.S.A.

As one insider told me, “Our firm earns billions of dollars a year by taking advantage of dramatic changes in the price of oil caused by elaborate rumors devised and spread by our elite staff. Since the 1973 and the first ‘oil crisis’ when we frightened gullible motorists into waiting in long lines for gasoline that was as ’scarce’ as salt water in the ocean, we’ve earned big bucks from oil whether the price was rocketing skyward or collapsing to new lows.

“So we were very unhappy when we heard that BP plans to ruin ‘our thing’ by tapping earth’s molten core as an energy source. Under the guise of ‘fixing’ the gulf leak, BP is drilling a so-called relief well approximately 4 miles below earth’s crust.
