Peter Falconio, from West Yorkshire, vanished while he and his girlfriend Joanne Lees were driving along an isolated road at night, around 200 miles north of Alice Springs.

They were waved down by a man whose truck had apparently broken down and although Ms Lees heard a shot being fired, she never saw what happened to her boyfriend. She was tied up but managed to escape and her attacker finally drove off.

Nearly five years later, Bradley Murdoch was convicted of Mr Falconio's murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.

He has never disclosed where he hid the body, despite an appeal from his girlfriend and family that it would help with the grieving process.Last month, Sydney's Daily Telegraph was contacted by clairvoyant Lorelle Trickett, who claimed she would be able to locate the body.
