Dr Death Gunther von Hagens to sell preserved bodies in exhibition gift shop
Gunther von Hagens, the German scientist known for exhibiting preserved human bodies, is planning to sell bodies and body parts.The so-called Dr Death's anatomical experience display in Brandenburg reopened with a sales centre that has something for everyone, he said, adding that his work helps people learn about anatomy.
Although the bodies were fully signed over to the plastics scientist by the individuals before death, many of the human remains will only be sold to qualified users, such as professors and doctors.
