The rugged coastline was a spectacular enough subject for a holiday photograph. But one women was stunned when she discovered this shot of a cliff face was even more dramatic than she imagined - as it showed an image of the Virgin Mary.
The hooded figure is seen holding her arms out-stretched in a cradling action sheltered beneath rocks at Newquay's Western Beach, Cornwall.
