Carol Watercutter has traveled as far as Savannah, Ga., to explore old buildings thought to be hot spots for paranormal activity. But the Heath woman is hopeful she'll soon be able to tour a haunted building that's close to home -- the old Licking County Jail.
Since September, three paranormal groups have investigated the jail, searching for signs of ghostly activity. On Tuesday, the Licking County group CHIPS -- Croton-Hartford Investigators of the Paranormal -- shared its discoveries with the county commissioners and a small group of county employees and residents, including Watercutter.
"I'd definitely say the building has paranormal activity," said Roger Bishop, CHIPS co-founder.
