A new discovery by a scientific satellite has shocked scientists. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), European Space Agency, and Italian Space Agency have funded a joint spacecraft to study Saturn. Named Cassini-Huygens, the satellite first reached Saturn in January of 2005. NASA is in charge of operating the satellite.
Scientists have speculated that Saturn’s moon Titan has ice volcanoes. After two flybys of Cassini-Huygens over the moon, the satellite’s observations appear to confirm that suspicion.
