The truth is out there.
And, at 7:34 p.m. Friday, it may have been over Aurora. Nancy Freckleton was enjoying the crisp autumn air in the back yard of her Aurora home with a trio of friends, when something caught her eye. In the sky to the south, three orange, shimmering and ember-like globes of light appeared suddenly and began to drift westward across the night sky.
They all appeared to be at different altitudes from one another, Ms Freckleton said, adding it was impossible to make out any definite shapes.
“We just stood there looking at them and there was no sound whatsoever,” she said. “They moved toward us and each one of them seemed to move independently of the others.”
