Maryport is reporting more UFO activity in the September skies
Location: Flimby, Cumbria, UK.
Time: between 8.00 – 8.15 pm.
Eyewitness Helen Dunion contacted me with an account regarding strange orange lights over Flimby.
Helen stated:
“Tonight the 21st of September of 2010 I saw two orange lights (there was no noise as you would expect if they had been planes or helicopters) in the sky over Flimby in Cumbria.”
The witness added:
“They looked as if they were going in the Maryport direction. I phoned my partner who was out with a friend in Allonby but by the time he looked towards the Flimby direction he could not see anything. There could only have been about two minutes between me phoning him and him looking for the lights.”
I asked Helen about the possibility of these lights being Chinese lanterns, she answered:
“I would say that they moved too fast and it seemed as if they were only 2 to 3 seconds apart. I thought that I was imagining it with the first light but then saw the second one”
I therefore explained to Helen that I had recorded suspected lanterns that had moved against strong winds – a feat that a delicate thing like a lantern could not do.
Although the UFOs were moving fast Helen mentioned that there was not much wind on that particular night.
It seems that this Cumbrian area is becoming a popular location for UFO sightings after this account and the last Maryport report (7th September 2010) by Eye witness Mr Jeff Bell.
Many inexplicable UFO sightings have indeed come from this Coastal region of the Lake District.
I welcome further written reports from witnesses.
