Ice age baby mammoth found in Siberia. The ice age baby is a large mammoth discovered after tens of thousands of years under the Siberian frost. Further isotope analysis will be conducted to determine the mammoth's age.
Baby Khroma is one of the oldest intact mammoths ever found. After undergoing special test to ensure that it was no longer carried the anthrax believed to have killed it. It was displayed at the Musee Crozatier, a French museum, in Puy-en-Velay. A unique cryogenic chamber will ensure that it is kept at -18 degrees C (-0.40 Fahrenheit).
