Politics in this country has only recently come to the piublic's attention. The obvious cause has been the expenses debacle and of course, the recent election.
We should not be surprised as all of this has been around for many years. People are often under the impression that our politicians are trying to do what is "best" for us. True, some may start out with that intention, but the political system is all about control!
If you care to look at the blatant lies, the incredible sums of money and the power that is wielded by our government, it all points to a mixture which will attract the corrupt and morally bankrupt characters who have appeared in our past. A good recent example is one of our previous prime ministers who spent his time in office promoting his own self-interest and amassing a personal fortune. This is hardly the action of a man who is there for the public good!
One of the great controls which is frequently exercised is repression of the truth and the ridiculing or suppression (or extermination) of those who would stand up and give true testimony. You will not be told the truth about UFO's, Aliens, artificially created epidemics or even what has happened to the aid money for Africa. Why was Saddam Hussein executed and Robert Mugabe allowed to carry on?
Another great instrument of governmental/political control is the cover-up. There have been so many that it is not worth providing an example.
Many of the agents of our political masters are even more morally bankrupt than the people who govern us. Who am I talking about? The police of course, they are the instrument of government! They act as judge and jury and intersperse their actions with a strong measure of political correctness, whilst they actively encourage racism within their own system e.g. The Black Police Officer's Association, or sexism e.g. The Gay and Lesbian Officer's Associations. None are necessary as every officer is supposed to be the same. Why do the police refer to citizens as civilians? what are they if not civilians themselves?
Over many years since the first world war, governments have passed laws which have allowed them to disarm the population. Slowly but surely they have stripped away our rights to use arms for legitimate purposes because they fear they might provoke us to revolution! e.g. the communist revolution in Russia during WW1. To achive their purpose many scenarios have been allowed to happen so that their reaction could be seen to be reasonable. Needless to say in many instances, the police have been there to make the situation work to the government's purpose. Our fascist masters are not the only ones who have done this, the Australian goverment and, to a limited extent, the American government have done this too.
Now let's have a look at the political system - you should have the right to your own political opinion - not so - there is a Scottish National Party, a Welsh National Party and an Irish National Party, but Lord help you if you express any interest in a British National Party! Irish nationalism has been founded on hate, intolerance and vengeance, so why is it more politically correct than a British National Party?
Politics affect every aspect of our daily lives. If you do not take an interest and do not vote, you are assisting the people who would control you.
For those of you who would dismiss this as the ravings of a bigot - heed the warnings - there are changes coming and you may be forced to reconsider your view of politics!
