Woman spots Jesus on a drainpipe

A nurse believes she has received a sign from God after spotting what she claims is an image of Jesus in a creosote stain on her garden drainpipe. Alex Cotton, 38, has dubbed the miraculous image 'The Second Plumbing' and has even invited the Pope to come and inspect the vision for himself.

Miss Cotton first noticed the image after returning home from watching a football match with friends.
While the group chatted in the garden, Miss Cotton told her friends Graham Morriss, 33, and Alan Downer, 40, that she could see a striking resemblance to the Messiah in the stain.

Mr Morriss said: 'We were just sitting around, having a good chinwag at about 10pm and suddenly Alex said: "There's Jesus on the drainpipe!".
