Saturday morning -- less than six hours after a marathon of shots and chasers that culminated in an epic event that will be known as "that night" for at least the foreseeable future. The sunlight creeps through your blinds and catches you right between the eyes.
Normally, this would lead you to nearly smother yourself with your pillow, but not this morning. Why? Because last night, you ordered your drinks without the hangover -- or at least you may be able to one day, according to a new study by researchers in the college of pharmacy at Chungnam National University.
The research, ironically set to be published in the journal Alcoholism: Clinical & Experimental Research, suggests that drinking oxygenated alcohol could prevent hangovers the morning after.
Before you start blowing bubbles in your booze with the hopes of avoiding the after-effects the next morning (that actually won't work, anyway), consider this: Adding oxygen to alcohol also could sober you up faster.
