With Valentine's Day coming up tomorrow, love is in the air. And apparently it's all over the Earth, too. These spectacular aerial pictures show how giant hearts can be seen in the unlikeliest of places.
If you fly over Australia's Great Barrier Reef, for instance, you might spot a very romantic coral formation.
In Florida, in the U.S., the Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary goes one step further, making its heart shape using lichen of a very appropriate colour, red.
And from the air, Germany looks like one big love letter, whether written by nature or man. There's the heart-shapedgarden growing in Waltrop, near Dortmund, and the water reservoir in Schˆnberg, in the country's far north.
In Walchensee, south of Munich in the Bavarian Alps, there's an island covered with evergreen trees that was just made for lovers. Clouds reflect off the surface of the lake to create the perfect Valentine's Day scene.
