A 6.1-MAGNITUDE quake hit the Philippines region early today US scientists said, but no tsunami warning was immediately issued. The epicentre of the quake was 141km east-southeast of Pandan, at a depth of 24km, a report from the US Geological Survey said.
The quake hit at 2.49am local time, the report said.
