Those mysterious lights seen around the Burke-Caldwell county line in northwest North Carolina have been reported since colonial times. And ever since those days investigators and witnesses have tried to explain them. Paranormal investigator and radio host Joshua Warren is the latest to have something to say about what are known as the Brown Mountain Lights. Warren reported last Thursday on Coast to Coast AM that a secretly placed camera recorded the glow of one of the lights in the early morning hours of November 20.
