Now let this be the end of all this nonsense....

How predictable. While the apocalypse coinciding with the end of the Mayan age did not materialise today, a deluge of internet virals did. Internet users around the world rushed to knock up weird and wonderful creations that saw the funny side when it turned out the world wasn't going to be besieged by raining fire or killer earthquakes. For centuries, the ending of the Mayan calendar, which occured today, has been taken as a sign of an impending Armageddon....
