Family spooked by 'ghost' at bottom of Christmas tree

Look closely. Can you see the ghostly face of a baby peering out from the bottom of the Christmas tree in this photograph? If so, you are not alone.

The picture has become a Facebook phenomenon since mechanic Dan Wood uploaded it to the web. Dan, 32, who works at Doddington Service Station, said: "I just innocently uploaded the photo of our Christmas tree. "But within minutes I had received dozens of messages and texts from friends pointing out what appears to be the ghostly image of a small child peering around the tree.

"It has all been a bit of a shock. I have tried to recreate the photo since but the face has never returned. "Now when I look at the picture I can't believe it. It really shocked me....
