‘Pendle Witch’ Alice Nutter statue unveiled

After 400 years, Alice Nutter is back in Roughlee - as a statue. She was accused of being a Pendle Witch and hanged in Lancaster along with nine others from the area. The new statue shows how she made to leave her village to go to Lancaster as a prisoner....

I've been in the room where the witches (and others) were kept just prior to their hanging, pretty freaky really!
