Recent discoveries of items found on inhabited Nikumaroro atoll, between Australia and Hawaii, might be clues to solve the mystery of Earhart's vanishing.

While the search for Earhart's airplane explores the deep waters off of Nikumaroro, now Gardner Island, where she might have landed, on July 2, 1937, with Fred Noonan, her guide – one of the most experienced global aerial navigators. Archaeologists found fragmented items, on the uninhabited atoll that could have been American beauty products, dating to the 1930s, according to the International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery, TIGHAR..... continues
