Ghost hunters are known for their efforts to obtain evidence of ghosts. Yet the realm of nature spirits is widely ignored by enthusiasts of the paranormal. I feel this is an under-explored area of the esoteric. People may believe in ghosts but find it hard to accept non-human spirits. Fairies, trolls and nature spirits seem only the stuff of fairy tales. We have Bigfoot hunters but no troll hunters. The picture above appears to show someone wearing a strange hat peeking between tree trunks. Non-human spirits are recognized in most of the world’s religions. Sightings of these entities are not relegated only to the past but continue on to this day.
