Police have arrested an AWOL soldier plotting another attack on Fort Hood, it was reported today. Killeen Police Department have arrested Pvt. Nasser Jason Abdo near Ft. Hood, Fox news have reported. Speaking to the network, Ft. Hood spokesman Bob Jenkins said Abdo was already being investigated for child pornography before he went AWOL on July 4.

Fox are reporting that Abdo was due to be deployed in Afghanistan but applied for conscientious objector status which was initially denied. The ruling was later overturned by the Assistant Deputy Secretary of the Army review board. Abdo was found with explosives in a car parked near the base, according to reports.
