Many scary movies about the occult and paranormal have been megahits at the box office. Viewers love to be scared for 90 to 120 minutes. Then they like to go home leaving ghost, spirits and other lifetime members of the eternal sleep club at the theaters.

Some people aren't that lucky. Some people believe they live with unwanted denizens of the metaphysical variety.

Calling for those `Ghost Busters' of fiction isn't an option, but contacting John Zaffis, who's claims to have been neutralizing such nuisances for more than 30 years, may offer relief. Zaffis, a paranormal researcher, has collected many objects once home to paranormal spirits and/or energy.Zaffis and his staff of paranormal investigators star in the new reality series "Haunted Collector," which now airs on TV's SyFy channel.
